Ministers council spokesman Alaa Al Hadidi has announced the Egyptian government will immediately employ a number of graduates, just one week after President Mohammed Morsi listened to the demands of student protesters in Cairo. Graduates with masters and doctoral qualifications could be offered state vacancies this year, Al Hadidi said. “President Morsi asked the government to take the necessary measures to employ people with masters and doctoral degrees according to the state apparatus’ needs,” his statement said. Last week Morsi ordered his motorcade to stop so that he could discuss protesters’ demands in front of his home in western Cairo.
