"French schools as well as the French Institute in Tunisia will be closed as of Wednesday afternoon until next Monday, September 24" announced a communiqué posted on Wednesday on the website of the French Embassy in Tunis. "The Embassy and its relevant services will also close on Friday, September 21", reads the communiqué, adding that "the French Embassy inTunishas asked the relevant Tunisian authorities to increase security for its facilities". This decision has been made after the publishing on Wednesday of cartoons mocking Prophet Mohammed in the French weekly magazine Charlie Hebdo.
