The Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi reiterated that the doors to dialogue in the Kingdom of Bahrain remain open and have never been closed. The Minister, speaking at the Isa Cultural Centre last night stressed that dialogue remain an integral part of the political process and includes all parties, adding that the session was held behind closed doors and restricted to official representatives of the participating parties. The Minister described the session a fruitful in many matters and a major step to delve into the dialogue agenda, adding that the participating parties agreed to resume today's session on December 25 in order to proceed to further advanced steps in the dialogue. Dr. Al-Nuaimi added that an important item has been added to the agenda regarding "the priorities of the political process in the upcoming phase" and this entails discussion of several constitutional and political issues. The Minister said the dialogue parties in last night's session reiterated the importance of referencing to the National Action Charter and the Kingdom of Bahrain's Constitution because both of them are significant tenets which should be taken into consideration in any future political discussion. The Minister of Education stressed that the keen presence of the participating parties and their resolve to continue the discussion of important points will lead to yet another important phase in the dialogue to serve the welfare and development of the political process in Bahrain.
