Australia on Tuesday signed a $90 million partnership agreement to support UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees. Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr and UNRWA chief Filippo Grandi signed the five-year deal in Canberra, UNRWA said in a statement. \"The five-year agreement with Australia provides steadfast financial support in a difficult global economic climate,\" Grandi said. \"Australia\'s backing over the next years will help UNRWA provide education to refugee children throughout the region, as well as health and relief services.\"
