Police in Rotherham, England are investigating an incident at a secondary school in which at least six red-haired students were attacked by classmates. All of the attacks at Wingfield Academy happened on the same day as the victims made their way to class, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday. Apparently, the coordinated attacks were similar to an episode of the U.S. television show \"South Park,\" in which characters create \"Kick a Ginger Day.\" Websites for the fictional day say Nov. 20 is the official \"Kick a Ginger Day,\" prompting concerns about whether there will be further attacks. Officials at the school said students who carried out the attacks have been \"strongly reprimanded.\" \"These deplorable acts, done in the name of singling innocent people out, have no place in our school and as soon as it was brought to my attention that such acts had taken place in our school, we acted swiftly to deliver a strong message,\" said a spokesman for Wingfield Academy. \"The pupils involved in carrying out these acts of violence have been strongly reprimanded and a school-wide warning has gone out that any future acts of violence, carried out in the name of discrimination, or any other reason, will be met with similar strong and decisive action.\"
