Indian broadcasters Nimbus and Ten Sports have expressed their interest in televising Pakistan's in-development twenty20 (T20) tournament, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). "Nimbus made a presentation regarding the league earlier this month. There are a few other [broadcasting] companies in the picture as well," Zaka Ashraf, PCB chief, told the PTI. Ten Sports and a London-based network have also reportedly made presentations to the board. "We have had several presentations and many people are promising to deliver a lot but we have to ensure the model we follow is viable for us financially and secondly it allows us to tap the international market," an unnamed PCB official told the Indian news agency. Ashraf said the PCB's league would not be an "exact copy" of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but that the board is instead "delivering an innovative and exciting" league to attract both investment and foreign players. The name of Pakistan's new T20 league is yet to be decided, he added.
