Egyptian television host and satirist Bassem Youssef's show "al-Bernameg" has returned to air three months after it was suspended. The show was suspended by Capital Broadcast Center in November after Youssef allegedly violated editorial policies and asked for more money. Youssef also came under fire for poking fun at Egypt's military, saying chocolate bars should be made in the likeness of Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, a military chief widely expected to be Egypt's next head of state. "Al-Bernameg" was broadcast for the first time in three months Friday, this time on privately owned MBC Misr channel. The show has been likened to U.S. television host Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show."
