DUBAI - Arab Today
The UAE is taking its happiness drive seriously. And you can't miss if you're driving down Dubai's Shaikh Zayed Road.
On Monday, the International Day of Happiness, just as the 200-megawatt solar power plant was being unveiled, a Dubai skyscraper has been decked up with a humongous smiley.
That’s the 309-metre Jumeirah Emirates Towers for you, the iconic twin buildings on Shaikh Zayed Road that had just been declared as the “happiest tower in the world”.
And that’s because that’s where the “happiest desk in the world” is also located.
That desk happens to belong to the Office of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai
The glass-and-metal towers is a mixed-use address in the UAE, with the taller of the two being an office building, the other is a hotel. A cavernous shopping mall with signature outlets sits below.
Next to these iconic towers is the under-construction Museum of the Future and world’s first office built using 3D printing.
The unveiling coincides with the celebration of International Day of Happiness on March 20, and embodies the directives of the UAE leadership to ensure happiness and positive values in both work and community environments across the country
People who drive along the skyscraper-filled portion of Shaikh Zayed Road cannot miss the huge smiley with "the happiest tower in the world" inscribed below.
On Sunday, the UAE announced the creation of the Wiorld Happiness Councjilo with 12 international experts as members
