First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has no facebook account and whomever is using it is an imposter, said a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
Head of Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled's office Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah said that the ministry was monitoring the situation and contacted facebook management to verify who was behind the fake account.
Legal procedures will be taken against perpetrators, said the official.
