Cyber experts will focus on cyber security policies, strategies and initiatives at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation-Computer Emergency Response Team (OIC-CERT) annual conference held here at the Rizqun International Hotel on Monday.
The Brunei Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCERT) is the host of the three-day conference at which international experts will lead discussions on latest technologies and trends relevant to cyber security, such as cloud computing and big data, according to a press statement from BruCERT.
Themed "Emerging Risks vs Opportunities", the conference is co- organized by OIC-CERT Permanent Secretariat CyberSecurity Malaysia, an agency under Malaysia's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The conference will consist of an annual general meeting for OIC-CERT members, a technical workshop on Internet investigation and a desktop exercise on 'Securing Organizations Against Cyber Attacks.'
Some 200 participants from 16 OIC-CERT members, comprising industry leaders and academics from the government and private sectors attended the conference.
