Darul-Ifta, or Ifta House, called for putting a code of ethics and criteria for the use of social networking sites.
It further said that the uncontrolled use of social networking sites has increased recently.
In a report prepared by Darul-Ifta observatory for takrifi fatwas, Darul-Ifta underlined the necessity of putting code of ethics that should be taken into consideration by visitors of social networking sites.
