Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave an interview to the Russian TV in which he tackled Egyptian-Russian relations and Russian projects in the development process in Egypt.
In his interview, the president focused on the two countries' trade relations and the chances of the Russian side in investment in the Suez Canal corridor.
The president revealed that Egypt offered two regions in north and south Suez Canal for establishing a Russian industrial zone in Egypt.
On military cooperation with Russia, the Egyptian leader said such cooperation is continuously developing.
He called on the international community to cooperate in fighting terrorism with economic and social methods, pointing out that combating terrorism must not be restricted to security.
Asked about the development in tourism cooperation, Sisi hailed the increase of the number of Russian tourists visiting Egypt which reached more that three million in 2014.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of ties binding the two countries and his relationship with President Vladimir Putin.
