Sarah Silverman hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend, her first appearance on the long-running sketch series since her one unmemorable season as a cast member back in 1993.
The 43-year-old comedian took the stage Saturday to kick off an opening monologue [above] that gave her the chance to chat with her 23-year-old self, using footage from an old skit in which Silverman poses as an inquisitive audience member.
Silverman also donned a blonde wig and a blood-red fur coat for an impersonation of the late Joan Rivers, her idol and comedic predecessor, who's still cracking jokes in heaven.
Silverman joined Taran Killam for a timely Ebola sketch based on a less-timely spoof of teen romance Fault in Our Stars.
"I'm sticking with you no matter what kind of cancer you have," says Killam's Augustus Waters.
"No, I don't have cancer, I have Ebola," says Silverman's Hazel Lancaster.
