Journalist Ahmad Ayoubi, secretary general of the National Initiative Movement, was released on Wednesday on a LBP 500,000 bail, as per a decision by Beirut investigating judge, Charbel Abu Samra.

Ayoubi was arrested on November 16 after defaming the President of the Republic and a sister country
