Chinese press covered the win of recent upper parliamentary elections of Japan\'s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, stating that his way of \'rightist\' aims were opened and that the world was concerned about Japan\'s future. Having won 71 seats and reaching 130 seats in total, Liberal Democratic Party led by Abe and small coalition partner Komeito\'s getting the first government, which dominated both lower and upper wings of the government at the same time, have widespread media coverage, Global Times\' Chinese version stated. Regarding the tension lasting for more than one year on islands without people between Japan and East China, the Chinese media stated, \"Abe should not gamble over the regional peace and stability and needs to handle its relations with neighbour countries chillily\". China\'s official press frequently expressed they suspect Abe\'s sincerity and stated \"he should take concrete steps to correct the relations of China-Japan, what he harmed with his own words.\" On the other hand, another issue, which is debated throughout the country is whether Abe would visit Yasukuni temple on August 15, the date when Japan was defeated in World War II.
