Laurent Van der Stockt, a photo journalist who has changed the agenda of the world, is set to come to Istanbul as the guest of Anadolu Agency. The French photo journalist will share his experience at Anadolu Agency\'s Istanbul Regional Directorate after his 2-month stay in Syria and exposure to chemical and poisonous gas. The meeting will take place on June 3 at 5 p.m. and will be open to journalists, photo journalists and all others interested in the issues dominating the world agenda. \"It is a vow of profession to reveal the truth for Van der Stockt\" Anadolu Agency\'s Director of Photography and Video Departments Ahmet Sel emphasized Van der Stockt was among the legendary photo journalists in the world. Stating that he followed significant wars and flash events closely at its origins ranging from the civil war in Yugoslavia to Chechnya, to Iraq and Syria, Sel said he was wounded several times while taking photos and recently was affected by chemical and poisonous gas Assad forces used against the opposition. \"It is a vow of profession to reveal the truth for Van der Stockt,\" Sel said and added, \"Anadolu Agency\'s cooperation with one of the world\'s most prestigious photo journalists is an indication of its determination in international journalism. Anadolu Agency is getting closer to its centennial vision.\" Followed the wars of the last 25 years Stockt followed the struggle of the Free Syrian Army against Assad forces through the lens of his camera in April and May. Sharing the daily lives of the members of the Free Syrian Army, Stockt witnessed the use of chemical weapons by Assad forces in person. Van der Stockt was born in Belgium in 1964. Covering nearly all of the wars and clashes of the world in the last 25 years, Stockt was wounded several times. Photos and interviews of Stockt were published in world\'s major newspapers and magazines.
