China honored Egyptian journalist Hossam al Maghrebi, an expert at China Internet Information Center, with the 2017 Friendship Award, China’s highest honor for foreign experts for their contribution to the country’s economic and social development.

The 38-year-old Maghrebi, the youngest foreign journalist honored with this award, attributed his success to the team spirit that prevails in the center where he works.

He hoped of more cooperation between Egypt and China in the cultural domain.
