Kia Motors Corp. released the first teaser images of its new Sorento SUV on Tuesday ahead of its global launch set for the second half of this year.
The two images showing front three-quarter and rear three-quarter views of the midsize SUV highlight a muscular profile that is at once sporty and upscale. The images are somewhat reminiscent of the smaller Sportage R SUV, with its bold "Tiger nose" grille and firm shoulder lines. The Sportage slots below the Sorento in Kia's corporate lineup.
