Iran plans to invite all prominent and popular carmakers from across the world to an international car conference in Iran scheduled for late November. Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, Ford Motor, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Fiat, Daewoo, Kia Motors, Toyota and Chinese carmakers are the international automobile manufacturers which are to be invited for the conference in Iran on November 30. Iranian car parts makers, automobile manufacturers, and companies providing after-sales services are trying to hold the conference with the aim of developing Iran\'s car industry, international participation, active presence in regional markets and meeting needs of local customers, the Iranian students news agency reported. The letter of invitation highlights Iran\'s capacity for producing 2 million sedans, implying that any foreign investment would be totally profitable. Iran predicts that car embargo would be lifted in the near future and Iranian car industry would be a place for foreign investment with high profit. The attendees plan to visit Iranian automobile manufacturers and car part makers after the one-day conference. Iran also plans to hold an international fair on car parts to demonstrate the country\'s potentials.
