GM Korea Co., the South Korean unit of U.S. automaker General Motors Co., said Friday that its sales in June rose 10 percent from a year earlier on strong demand for new models launched here earlier this year. GM Korea sold a record 79,557 vehicles last month, compared with 72,296 units sold in the same period last year, the company said in a statement. Domestic sales surged 37.2 percent on-year to 13,761 units with exports also rising 5.7 percent to 65,796 units.
