Thirty-eight cars which were being used for drifting have been seized by the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
North Al Batinah ROP in coordination with Sohar ROP raided several repair workshops in North Al Batinah Governorate which were modifying the vehicles for drifting and seized 38 vehicles.
A senior official said: “Some of these vehicles seemed broken down and are not street-worthy. It poses a risk for public safety regardless of drifting.”
