A fishing party landed a shark that was so big the scale on the dock couldn\'t measure its weight, the manager of a Southern California fishing business said. Craig Campbell, general manager of Del Rey Landing in Marina Del Rey, said the scale stops at 750 pounds, and he thinks the shark the fishing party brought in Monday weighed at least 800 -- and possibly as much as 900 -- pounds, the Los Angeles Times reported. Campbell said it took at took at least six men to land the mako shark about 15 miles off the coast, and then they had to tow it by its tail because it wouldn\'t fit in their boat. \"It was a pretty big fish,\" Campbell said. He said fishing in the area is pretty good currently, and the big catch is a sign \"big fish are out there and coming in a little closer.\" \"We haven\'t seen sharks like that around here for a couple years,\" he said. \"It used to be a fairly common occurrence.\"
