Two kittens from rare Persian leopards have just been born in Sochi National Park for the first time in 50 years. The recruitment program of these unique animals has been fostered under the ecological strategy of ‘Sochi 2014’, which aims to maintain biodiversity ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympics. When the kittens grow up a little, they will adapt to life in the wild on the territory of a Caucasian state nature biosphere reserve.
