A lion reported missing from a Florida animal sanctuary Friday was found in another enclosure at the facility, authorities said. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said the lion was reported missing Friday from the Survival Outreach Sanctuary in Spring Hill, ABC News reported Friday. Five teams from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were sent to search the area with help from two sheriff's office teams, a sheriff's office representative said. The representative said the lion was found in another enclosure at the facility and was sedated with a dart gun. The FWC said an investigation has been opened into how the lion escaped its area and ended up in another enclosure.
