A herd of elephants is seen inside Hwange National Park in western Zimbabwe, Dec. 20, 2014. Zimbabwean and some international animal welfare groups were lately calling for the government to stop the trade of live elephants, especially baby elephants, after claims surfaced earlier this month that three dozens of elephants were captured in Hwange for export to zoos in Asia. But officials of the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority said the trade was legal according to Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and has been done in due process.
