China\'s meteorological authority on Tuesday forecast that a strong cold front will sweep eastwardly from the west of the country over the next three days, plunging temperatures and bringing rain to some provinces. Temperatures will drop by four to eight degrees Celsius in the regions north of the Huai River while eastern Inner Mongolia and the northeast will see temperatures fall by more than 10 degrees, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said. Due to the front, parts of Tibet and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions, and the provinces of Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi and Henan have had moderate rain on Tuesday. The rains are forecast to continue until Tuesday night. Beijing\'s evening temperature will also fall by 6 degrees over the next three days.
