Pantech Co., South Korea\'s third-largest mobile-phone maker, said Thursday it will release a high-end smartphone later this month that will run on a faster network, hoping to differentiate its new device with a motion recognition feature. The handset maker announced the Vega LTE smartphone, an Android-based gadget that is compatible with the fourth generation (4G) wireless technology called long term evolution (LTE).
