US President Barack Obama said Monday the United States will support the construction of a solar power plant in Chile.
Obama was meeting at the White House with visiting President Michelle Bachelet of Chile. He told reporters at the start of the meeting that the two leaders will announce collaboration on clean energy, including a major solar facility to help meet the needs of the South American country.
