The delivery of water from Al-Salam Canal's Sinai branch to the excavation corridors of the New Suez Canal has already started, MENA video service has recorded.
The excavation operations at the new waterway started on August 5.
Earlier, head of the Armed Forces' Engineering Authority Kamel el-Wazir said that work at the new project was afoot.
