A power line tower has been sabotaged in Menoufia, north of Cairo, said the electricity transmission company chief.
Search is underway to arrest the perpetrators, said Ahmed el Hefny on Monday.
Repairing the pylon, located in Qewesnah township, is expected to cost EGP 1.1 million.
