The Nile River water level increased on Friday, recording 179.44 meters, five centimeters more than Thursday, Chairman of the High and Aswan Dam Authority Emad Mikael said.
The water volume at Lake Nasser is now standing at 146.084 billion cubic meters, while water released for domestic needs hit 85 million cubic meters daily, Mikael said in statements Friday on the sidelines of a visit by Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi of Aswan.
