A buoy weighing two tons was removed from the southern sea region of the country and was towed to Khairan Sea resort, head of Kuwait Dive Team Walid Al-Shatti said on Saturday.
The official told KUNA that the buoy was left in its current location to ensure safe marine navigation.
Al-Shatti called on entities operating in the southern sea region of Kuwait to make sure their buoys were not left unattended to prevent accidents from occurring.
