Customs of King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh foiled an attempt to smuggle a quantity of African ivory abroad though the kingdom.
The ivory, 588 pieces of different shapes and sizes weighing about 490 kilograms, was found hidden within the luggage of a passenger on a flight coming from one of the African countries and bound to an East Asian country.
