Five fur seals from southern Africa have become the latest residents at the Emirates Park Zoo - and they\'re prepared to work for their lodgings. From Friday the seals, usually found in Namibia\'s Cape Cross, will perform every day at the zoo\'s Flamingo Park in Al Bahia. The performances will include educational and photography sessions, and chances for the audience to interact with the animals. \"The seals joining our zoo reflect our commitment to teach, entertain and educate children of different ages,\" said Nasser Al Nuaimi, the zoo\'s owner. \"We want the zoo to become a unique and memorable experience for our visitors and we are sure the seals will be a great success.\" The zoo, which recently changed its name from the Family and Children\'s Zoo to the Emirates Park Zoo, is in the middle of a major expansion. By the end of this year it will have 35 chalets, an ice rink, an indoor marine zone with 30 tanks, a games area and a butterfly park. It will also have gazelles, elephants, rhinoceros, chimpanzees, parrots and birds of prey, as well as a domestic cats park.
