The Islamophobia observatory of Dar Al-Ifta (Egypt's Ifta House" underlined the importance of establishing "council of relations with Islam in Italy" is a step on the right track.
This comes to help the Muslims merge in the Italian society especially that there is a great number of them in Italy and they are not refugees or migrants, said the observatory in a statement Sunday.
There are about one million Muslims in the European country.
The observatory called the Muslims in Italy to participate in developing their country and respecting the Italian laws.
The council will provide suggestions concerning the merging of the Muslims, the statement read, adding the it will group experts in Islam and the Islamic culture.
