Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy issued on Monday orders for the safe burial of dead cows in Ain Sokhna after a report was filed that seven dead cows were thrown on the beach.

Cuts and fungus were found on the bodies of the dead cows, with one of them having a distinguished mark on the ear from which the cow's source could be identified, head of the central administration for environmental crises and disasters Kawthar Hanafy said.

The cows were buried in a safe way, she said.
