Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy has praised the leading role Egypt plays in Africa, noting it chairs the African environment ministers' conference for the coming two years.
Regional workshops are organized to present expertise of developed and developing countries in monitoring climate change.
He highlighted the importance of a unified African stand during the annual Conference of Parties (COP) that will take place on December 7-8 in Paris.
This came during his inauguration of a workshop on boosting African potentials to reduce emissions.
