Minister of State for Environment Khaled Fahmi on Monday traveled to the Saudi city of Jeddah to take part in the 15th meeting of the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA), which will kick off on Tuesday. Fahmi asserted that the sea pollution, the wasting of the sea resources and overfishing are threats of common nature in the region and should be dealt with through cooperation to identify their reasons, impact and necessary measures to combat them.
