Cairo - MENA
The Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) has inspected a number of industrial facilities to make sure their activities are not increasing air pollution.
Only three out of 17 facilities inspected by EEAA had violations, the Environment Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The violating facilities are located in the areas of Abu Zaabal and el Khanka, the statement read.
The Ministry also said that a seminar was recently held to boost farmers' awareness of the environment.
