Environment Minister Khalid Fahmy paid on Thursday a visit to Torah and Helwan cement factories to check on their commitment to environmental standards.
Representatives from the industry and investment ministries accompanied the minister on his visit.
Fahmy reiterated the ministry's support for the two factories in their projects aimed at achieving environmental compatibility.
He also discussed efforts exerted by both factories to enhance their environmental conditions.
