Egypt and Sudan have started a study of several projects to reduce loss of Nile water and confront floods.
During a meeting of the joint technical committee on Nile water in Cairo, the two countries discussed countering water hyacinth and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The meetings of technical experts will run for a week.
