Renaissance Dam

The foreign ministers of Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia have reached an accord comprising the principles on cooperation to make use of eastern Nile water, the Renaissance Dam, and overcoming the pending issues that could affect the downstream countries of Sudan and Egypt.
The accord has been reached during their three-day meetings, according to a communiqué read out by Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Karti.
The document would be presented to the presidents of the three countries for endorsement, Karti said.
The accord will be the go-ahead for more cooperation between Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia in various fields, he added.
