Egypt's Minister of Agriculture Salah Hilal and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazy arrived in Khartoum on a three-day visit to Sudan.

The pair were received by Sudanese Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Mahmoud and Minister of Water Resources and Electricity Moataz Moussa.

The visit is meant to enhance cooperation in the field of agriculture, livestock and water resources along with preparing for meetings of the Joint Higher Committee slated for May in Cairo under the chairmanship of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Al Bashir.
