Red Sea Ports

The Red Sea Ports Authority closed on Friday six harbors in Suez, Damietta and Sinai governorates due to bad weather.
In a statement, Port Tawfiq, Adabiya, El-Zaytiat, Ain Sokhna, Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh were closed due to heavy rains and high wind velocity which could cause ship collision, Red Sea Ports Authority Spokesman Abdel-Rahim Mostafa.
The decision was taken to ensure the safety of the workers and ships at the ports, he stressed.
