Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN) registered a 4.5-degree earthquake southwest of Kuwait on Saturday, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) said. There were no reports of casualties.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Enezi, KNSN supervisor, said epicenter of the earthquake was five kilometers underground.
He said in a statement the earthquake took place at 14:23 hours local time (11:23 GMT), and people felt it.
