Qalyubiya governorate signed a 35-million EGP cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Antiquities for renovating the oldest cotton grin in El Qanater el Khayreyya to be open for tourists.

Under the protocol, a hotel looking over the Nile will be built in addition to establishing a cultural center and a regional museum housing the governorate's monuments, Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher said in a statement Thursday.
