The Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe recently opened for business. The inaugural witnessed nearly 800 guests along with Robert Gaymer-Jones, chief executive officer of Sofitel Worldwide; Olivia Putman, Studio Putman artistic director; Béatrice Schopflin, general manager of Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe; gastronome and restaurateur José Da Rosa from Epicerie Da Rosa; and Rami Mekdachi, developer of the hotel’s olfactive signature with the candle 14. The hotel features L’Initial, the 64-seat restaurant where head chef Thomas Bruno offering modern French cuisine based on fresh seasonal products and a wine list boasting over 100 grand crus. The Sofitel Arc de Triomphe has 124 rooms, including 27 superior guestrooms, 66 luxury guestrooms, 13 junior suites, 11 premium junior suites, five prestige suites and two apartments.
