Atelier Flou

Atelier Flou is a new concept range of fragrances that draws inspiration from the haute couture workshops of Paris. The brainchild of Jean-François Cabos, company founder and former President of Balenciaga, Atelier Flou comprises 10 fragrances: five for women and five for men, each set within its own carved bottle in gold or silver. Fragrances for women include: Sloane Rose (pictured above), comprising top notes of jasmine, violet and orange, heart notes of rose and set on a base of cedar and amber; Shamsin, featuring top notes of jasmine and narcissi, heart notes of rose, iris and incense, while cedar, patchouli and vanilla are at the base; Paradis Paradis, with top notes of jasmine, bergamot and rose, with iris at the heart and vanilla and cedar at the base; Ten Nine, comprising top notes of mandarine, cassis, jasmine and caraway, heart notes of bergamot and Moroccan lentisk, and a base of patchouli and amber; Liva, a daring scent with bergamot, mandarine and grapefruit top notes, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon and cedar heart notes, and a base of vetiver, benjoin and vanilla. The men's fragrances include: Katana, with top notes of juniper and cypress bark, a heart of cardamon, settled on a base of patchouli and coriander; Black Purple, an intense fragrance combining rosemary and vetiver; Monsieur Mon Amour, featuring top notes of jasmine and citrus with heart notes of cedar, incense, bois de gaiac, formed on a base of amber and patchouli; Eau d'Aviateur, fusing Mediterranean citrus fruits, Arabian spices and South American teas; and Amacord, inspired by the countryside surrounding Grasse and comprising top notes of incense and neroli, heart notes of vetiver, iris and lily of the valley, while a bouquet of Grasse spices are at the base.
