Dolce & Gabbana revealed their next fragrance campaign starring the effervescently feminine Scarlett Johansson today. The fragrance, named The One Desire, will go on sale early next year as the fourth and final installment in the Italian fashion house’s The One fragrance line. The latest sultry image was shot by American fashion photographer Terry Richardson and features the star with smoky-eyes and disheveled hair, a notable departure from the neo-classical 1940s pin-up look she has sported in the brands’ previous perfume ads since she became the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s cosmetics line in 2009. The One Desire comes in a black and gold Baroque-inspired bottle, which is very reminiscent of the royal splendor the designers channeled in their A/W collection, which was inspired by the Church vestments of their native Italy. The scent is a sophisticated blend of mandarin, lychee and bergamot; it will be available from 29 February next year in Dolce & Gabbana boutiques and perfume stores.
