Beyonce in Grammy Awards ceremony

The 35-year-old Beyonce, appeared in a skintight red sequin dress, which showed off her baby bump, at the Grammy Awards ceremony.

Beyonce joined her husband Jay Z in the audience - only after nabbing her first award of the night.

Meanwhile, soon after awards ceremony ended, DJ Khaled presented a new single with Jay Z, titled "Shining", with both the rapper and Beyonce making a cameo appearance.

Jay Z's line of verse even reference his unborn twins: "Don’t let me have a son, I’m a fool/I want a boy and a girl to fight for truth, but whatever God give me, I’m cool".

He then referenced his own history at the awards show: '21 Grammys, I am a savage. 12 solo albums, all platinum.'

Beyonce went into the evening with nine nominations, and took home soon after her performance the gong for best urban album for Lemonade.

During her performance, which marked her first public appearance since announcing she was pregnant with twins, the mother to five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy debuted her baby bump at the show in both a gold bikini and a gold sequin gown.
The first image of the bump was a video montage while wearing a bejeweled bikini top and bottoms; the singer performed a nine-minute medley of Love from her album.

The singer showed her belly in a sequin gown and yellow cape next while sporting a crown (she also quickly posted some behind the scenes snaps right after her performance on Beyonce.com).

The montage ended as Beyonce rose out of the floor, still sporting her sun ray inspired crown.

She took a seat in a chair, her cleavage on show in the plunging neckline design of the gown.

However, there were some acrobatics as her wooden chair dipped back, sending the pop sensation parallel with the floor.

Her mother Tina Knowles, who spoke proudly of her famous daughter.

However, both Tina and Blue were featured as holograms during the show.

Pregnant pop superstar Beyonce headed into the Grammy awards aiming to clinch her first album of the year win, while riding high on a wave of goodwill that greeted her surprise announcement that she was expecting twins.

Soon after her performance, she nabbed the gong for best urban contemporary album.
